Just Another Dropout in Engineering? Perhaps, Maybe Not.

He reflected about his life's path as he stood amidst the gorgeous hills and mountains of Darjeeling's St. Paul's School. St. Paul's was his first and only home, where he acquired all of his skills and qualities. He was educated, not simply instructed; the school instilled in him imagination, compassion, and concern. He felt that he was part of a close-knit family where they participated in every sport and learned every lesson.

Just Another Dropout in Engineering? Perhaps, Maybe Not.
After leaving St. Paul's, he relocated to Delhi and enrolled in DPS Vasant Kunj for a period of two years. During this time, he gained the skills necessary to thrive in the adult world. Throughout the most difficult years of his education at VIT, he felt fractured and shattered as a result. But, his life was completely transformed by his participation in an AIESEC-sponsored exchange programme in Russia for six weeks. He learned how to be a leader, how to manage teams, how to conduct events, how to be unselfish, how to deal with rejection, and how to grow from his failures.

Motivated by his past experiences, he pursued his interests, wrote and published his first book, and then quit his engineering programme in the middle of his third year to start studying for the CLAT. He enrolled at NUJS in Kolkata and quickly became enamoured with the love and energy of the city. Following an action-packed four years in AIESEC, he was elected President of the Kolkata Branch for the year (2020-21), which was complicated and fraught with difficulties due to the outbreak of COVID. Nevertheless, turmoil quickly overtook his life as he fought with health difficulties that he had concealed for years. He had kept these issues a secret for so long.

He made an effort to escape his issues, but finally, the fractures appeared to the public, and he understood that he couldn't hide forever and that he needed to face them. In the year 2020, everything got too much for him, and he rushed back to his parents, who assisted him in overcoming the obstacles he faced. They were instrumental in his recovery, and on May 22, 2020, he established Felicity Inc., resumed writing, finished the book he was working on, and brought his page back up.

The company Felicity Inc. has made it their mission to level the playing field for creatives working in all fields. For the time being, however, they will post your work for free on their social media accounts, which have over 20,000 followers combined. In the long run, they want to develop a new platform where algorithms do not govern your creative process. The operation of a large-scale corporation like this does not come without costs. But, they didn't want to tax the people who made the content, so they came up with other ways for them to get money, such as InfluenceFelicity (iF), Petals, and Tales by bshubhamb. iF is a marketing agency that specialises in digital marketing, the creation of content for social media, and event management. Petals is a newsletter that is published every week and focuses on art, history, legal issues, and politics. Last but not least, Tales by bshubhamb is a place where anybody may share their own personal narratives with the more than 15,000 people who follow the page that our creator maintains.

Bhaskar (aka bshubhamb), who is interested in the legal field and wants to become an attorney, has completed internships at litigation companies and saw a demand for innovation. They (he and Bishal) have started working on legal technology in order to make the world of the law simpler for students and attorneys. To do this, they are translating a friend's and his own background in computing, together with his expanding knowledge of the law, into legal tech. They are working on developing methods to swiftly assess daily cause lists, summarise judgements, and create other useful add-ons for pocket devices at the moment.

Although though the voyage has only just started, and success is yet a few months or years down the line, he recognises that he has gone full circle as he stands among the hills and mountains of St. Paul's School once more (now in September 2021). In 2005, he had been on a journey and spent the subsequent nearly 16 years fighting on his own. Yet, he had at long last made his way back to the place where it had all started, and this time he was accompanied by his family — both the one he was born into and the one he met later in life — who were there to support him and guide him through his trials.
