Ecloset is founded by Ms. Rashmi Chopra who is a Gurgaon-based serial entrepreneur-design professional - fashion expert and public speaker. She is an alumna of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT, Delhi) and has worked extensively with global corporates and mentored many young professionals and home-makers turned entrepreneurs. She is a public speaker & has 2 publications under her wing. Won many accolades & awards including Exceptional Women of Excellence and Women Icon of the Year.

The idea behind Ecloset

All of us face daily stylistic dilemmas whenever we have to step out and struggle to find the right outfit and combination. We generally turn to our family and friends nudging them to advise what looks good and what’s trending. “What to wear when” and “How to wear”? There was no immediate online access to a specialist who can understand your styling requirements and guide you. Many online generic tutorials are available but they are not curated as per your body/face type/ your preferences/ your occasion, and what you like to portray when you dress. Styling is very individual and not one size fits all. To solve this problem, the idea of easy access to an online personal stylist was germinated in 2020. It’s a fashion tech start-up

Ecloset has also come up with an innovative Personalized Virtual Closet – you can upload your most liked clothing from your current wardrobe or Wishlist in your closet capsules, added to it will be E-closet stylist wardrobe recommendations - ‘MyECloset’ – your ready-reckoner for dressing-up for any occasion. 

Ecloset and women empowerment 

E-Closet not only helps you style your closet but also does amazing work by doing for the community and promoting women’s empowerment. They have provided work-from-home opportunities for experienced and budding stylists as it’s completely online.

Also, to promote diversity, stylists are selected from different regions of the country.

The team extensively travels and researches new and upcoming clothing, jewelry, accessories, footwear, and skincare/cosmetic brands, recommends them to their customers, and shares shopping links/access to the brand sites. Customer finds it very easy to click and shop immediately based on expert suggestions rather than wasting time and effort going thru several sites and options. The brands in turn get recognition and sales. 

Plans

On asking about the future plans she mentions, “we want to build a fashion community of fashion stylists, influencers, and bloggers, collaborate with as many homegrown Indian brands.
