Chibber Ventures Executes Landmark Sale of 1.8 Million Sq. Ft. FSI in Thane from Slum Rehabilitation Project,

Chibber Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a leading player in Maharashtra’s real estate and redevelopment sector, has successfully completed the sale of 1.8 million square feet of Floor Space Index (FSI) in Thane. The transaction, stemming from the firm’s expansive slum rehabilitation portfolio, has been valued at ₹324 crore.

The FSI sold is derived from one of Chibber Ventures’ multiple SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) undertakings, a space where the company has cultivated deep expertise and long-standing relationships on ground. Known for its strategic approach to urban renewal, Chibber Ventures holds a significant land bank across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), especially in redevelopment-prone zones.

This latest transaction underscores the firm’s ability to unlock value while also creating monetizable development rights for end users such as residential and commercial developers.

Speaking on the transaction, Managing Director Chibber Ventures - Varun Chibber said:
